Massing Tool: Step One, Make a polygon of property line in Google Earth save as .KML

Property KML Block Planner

Import a parcel KML, place rotatable house blocks, export Google Earth KML/KMZ

Load a KML file with a property polygon to begin.
The tool uses the largest polygon ring found in the KML as the main property boundary.

Selected Block
Drag blocks to move them. Drag the orange corner handle to rotate. Mouse wheel zooms. Middle or right mouse drags the view.
Export Notes

Exported blocks are written as KML footprint polygons with altitude and extrusion. Google Earth will display them as simple 3D massing blocks that are easy to share and edit.

For most property-scale layouts this local-coordinate approximation is accurate enough. If your site is unusually large or has steep terrain, add a base altitude per block as needed.

Scale: —
Left drag: move block · Orange handle: rotate · Wheel: zoom · Right/middle drag: pan
