Model · GFS (default) — hourly NOAA GFS profile from Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com). It sends cross-origin headers, so it loads directly in the browser with no relay. This is a model sounding: hourly and location-exact, but smoother than a balloon.
Observed · RAOB balloon — the actual twice-daily radiosonde from the Iowa State archive (mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/json/raob.py), also cross-origin friendly. Best for verifying the real inversion.
Observed · Wyoming — the original University of Wyoming text feed. Wyoming sends no CORS headers (and NOAA retired rucsoundings in 2024), so this route depends on a public relay and often fails. If it does, click Open raw ↗, copy the page, and paste it below.
